To Sync Additional Folders to the Desktop Application:

If you can see a folder listed on Dropbox.com, but don’t see the same folder in the Dropbox folder of your finder/file explorer, follow these steps to sync additional folders:

  1. For Mac users, click the Dropbox icon at the top of your screen. If you don’t see the icon, open the Dropbox program from the launchpad.

For Windows users, click the Dropbox icon at the bottom right of your screen near the clock, you may need to click the small arrow to reveal the tool bar tray.

  3. Click “Sync” on the left, then click "Modify" on the right.

  4. Check off the folders that you want added to the finder/file explorer and click “Update”.

Be mindful of the folder sizes as anything over 50 GB can take hours to sync and cause your computer to slow down. Click on the folder names to view the sub-folders. From there, you can more specifically select only the folders that you need.
